Nigeria Volleyball Federation Committee, invites 22 Male & Female players to camp

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Beach Volleyball committee, has invited 22 Men & Women beach volleyball players into camp in Abuja, ahead of the Commonwealth games qualifiers scheduled to hold at Sierra Leone between 25th and 28th of Oct 2017.

The players were invited at the end of open trials for beach Senior male and female teams held at Kaduna between 5th and 8th Oct 2017. 

Names of selected players invited to camp are:
Men:


1. Paul Anshungu
2. Andrew Sunday
3. Peter Ibrahim
4. Ibrahim Adamu
5. Obayemi Ogunshina
6. Godwin Shekarau
7. Hilary Simion
8. China Ben
9. Buba Nuhu
10. Godwin Samuel

WOMEN:

1. Tochukwu Nnowga
2. Blessing David
3. Isabella Laju
4. Amarachi Uchechukwu
5. Queen Augustine
6. Jumai Bitrus
7. Obaze Sarah
8. Abigail Abba
9. Sara Kabiru
10. Jessica Terwase

The Chairman, Media & Publicity of the Federation, Kehinde Lamidi, who made this known, said Precillia Agera and Francisca Ikhiede who are currently playing for Nigeria in Cameroon will join the camp on return.

Lamidi said the Technical Chairman, Martin Melandi says the Camping will be from the 11th- 23th October, 2017.


He added that according to the National Beach Volleyball Coach, Kayode Ajilore, the training programmes for the Commonwealth games qualifiers would commence immediately the players resume this week, noting that all the invited players would be given fair trials to fight for national Jersey.
