The Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, says it has seized vehicles and goods, with duty paid value of N16,859,444, in one week.
The State Comproller, Sani Madugu, who made this known said the seizure was made between October 6th and 13th(last Friday).
Madugu said the seizure include 201(25 liters each) of vegetable oil, with duty paid value of N1,688,400, 1,066(50kg) bags of foreign rice, with duty paid value of N4,477,200 and a Lexus jeep, with duty paid value of N7,250,000.
He listed others as a Sienna, with duty paid value, N2,763,844, three vehicles, Mazda 626, used as means of conveyance, with duty paid value of N600,000 and four Boxer motocycle, with duty paid value of N80,000.
