The Zonal Commander of
Zone A and F of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Assistant
Commandant General (ACG) Popoola Bamidele, has commiserated with the Corps’
Commandant General, Gana Muhammadu and officers and men of the Corp following
the death of Commandant Lawal Kano, who was until his death the Corps State
Commandant of Nasarawa State.
The ACG in a statement
by the Spokesman of the Zone, Kareem Olarenwaju said his death was a rude shock
to the entire NSCDC family, while he said his gallantry, professionalism,
management acumen and achievements will be very difficult to forget.
The ACG said the late
Commandant spent his whole life in the service to the nation, as "he was
among vibrant Officers who believe in offering selfless services to the nation
and people in general".
The NSCDC boss prayed
to Allah to give his family, the Corps Commandant General and the entire NSCDC
family the fortitude to bear the loss.
