Two dead, six injured in fatal accident two days after another accident at same spot

A fatal multiple accident has claimed two lives at Kara Bridge, along Lagos/Ibadan expressway, two days after lives were lost in another accident at the Bridge.
Spokesman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corp (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi who made this known said a male and a female lost their lives in the accident that involved a Mazda bus, marked SGM-530-XA, a Grand Cherokee Jeep, marked JJJ-520-DY and Ogun BRT bus marked XA-354-APP.
Akinbiyi said six others, including two males and four females, were also injured in the accident.
He added that the Mazda bus allegedly had a brake failure, then rammed into the Grand Cherokee Jeep, while the Ogun BRT bus hit the Mazda from the rear afterwards.
The spokesman said those that were injured were taken to Lagos accident and emergency unit.
