Police parade Rivers pastor for allegedly killing mistress, another woman and nine-month-old baby

A pastor, Chidiebere Okoroafor has been arrested for allegedly killing his mistress, a church member, as well as a nine-month-old baby in Rivers state.
The incident reportedly took place on December 9, 2017 but was discovered four days after the deceased persons were declared missing.
The victims include 25-year-old Ada Concila Ezeawa, Mrs.  Uloma Onweagba and her nine- months -old baby Christabel Joseph-Onweagba.
The the state Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyril Okoro, who made this known while briefing newsmen in Port Harcourt on Friday on behalf of the State Police Commissioner, Zaki Ahmed, said trouble began when the pastor’s alleged mistress, Concila Ezeawa, informed the pastor of her pregnancy following her alleged amorous relationship with the man of God, which did not go down well with him.
Okoro said in a bid to cover up his sins, Pastor Okoroafor who is the founder of Altar of Solution Church, Izuoma in Afam Oyigbo Local Government Area (LGA) of the state, reportedly urged the girl to abort the pregnancy which she bluntly refused to the chagrin of the pastor.
He added that to convince the pastor to allow her keep the pregnancy and have the baby alive, Ezeawa apparently involved Mrs. Onweagba for her intervention and probably convinced her Pastor boyfriend to respect her wish.
The Police boss said that on the day of the incident, Ezeawa and Onweagba, along with her baby strapped to her back, set out to confront the pastor over the pregnancy.
He added that the pastor ingeniously separated his accusers, by allegedly luring Ezeawa to an uncompleted building, while he told Onweagba to stay three “poles” away.
According to Okoro, the pastor strangled Ezeawa in the uncompleted building and moments after, he  rejoined Onweagba and left with her and the baby on a tricycle to Afam Roundabout from where they took a motorbike to an isolated bush on Igberu Road.
He added that the pastor allegedly murdered his second victim in the isolated bush, using the wrapper with which she strapped her baby to the back to suffocate her.
He said, “The baby was equally discovered dead.”
“This murder by the suspect is premeditated, callous and devoid of human sympathy.”
He added that the pastor manipulated the two victims, following the trust they had in him.
Okoro said autopsy would be conducted on the three corpses for confirmation of the cause of their death, noting that the suspect had confessed to the crime following overwhelming evidence and will soon be charged to court.
