Two die, seven injured in Ogun lone accident

Two people have lost their lives, with seven others injured in a fatal accident at Koba-Siun expressway in Ogun state.
Spokesman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi who made this known, said that five others were not injured in the lone accident that involved a Mazda bus marked KSF-347-XG.
Akinbiyi said the accident occurred when the driver’s side tyre pulled out with the chassis on motion and the vehicle lost control, ramming into the road median and somersaulting in the process.
He added that the two female occupants that died in the accident were thrown out of the vehicle in the process of somersaulting.
Akinbiyi said that the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue of Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OSUTH), with three of the injured victims taken to the same hospital.
He added that the other four injured victims were taken to Owode General Hospital, while the accidented vehicle was taken to the Owode Police station.
Akinbiyi said the vehicle took-off from Kuto garage in Abeokuta and was heading to Ijebu-ode, before the accident occurred.
