Spokesman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corp, Babatunde Akinbiyi who confirmed the accident said five others including four males and one female were injured in the fatal crash.
Akinbiyi said the accident which involved Mazda 626 car marked JBD-367-XA was caused by mechanical fault, as the car suspension rod broke on motion.
He added that this made the vehicle to somersault before crash landing into the bush.
The Spokesman said that the injured victims were taken to Lantoro Hospital in Abeokuta, while the body of the deceased had been deposited at the Morgue of State Hospital, Ijaye, Abeokuta.
