Governor Amosun promise to make amends for shortcomings in Sports before 2019

Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State says he knows that his administration has not done as much as it is supposed to do in Sports, as a result of competing needs.
Amosun who made this known at the finals of the season 5 of the Ogun State/GTBank Principals' Cup, at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, said that despite being an active Sport man when he was much more younger, competing needs such as infrastructural development has not allowed for much to be done in Sport.
He added his administration will ensure that the needful is done to grow the Sport sector in the State, before it term comes to an end in 2019.
At the end of the female final match, Iko Gateway Grammar School, Idiroko, defeated the defending Champion, Muslim High School, Isolu, Abeokuta 4-2 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
For the male category, Pakoto High School, Ifo, also defeated Ipara Community High School, Ipara, with the same scoreline for penalty shoot-out, after ending their encounter 1 goal apiece too, in regulation time.
