Spokesman of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corp(TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, who made this known, said the accident, which occurred late last night, involved a blue DAF tanker loaded with Petrol, marked LSR-625-XP and a Bajaj Motor bike, marked KNN-203-VX.
Akinbiyi said five people(four males and one female), were involved in the accident, while the only female involved was injured.
He added that the crash was allegedly caused by reckless riding and line violation and there were three people on the motor bike.
The Spokesman said the dead victim was one of the passengers on the bike, while the injured victim is the other passenger on the bike.
He added that the bike rider and those in the tanker were not injured.
Akinbiyi said the rider ran away, while the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue of the State General Hospital, Ijaye, Abeokuta.
