T he Labour Party says Nigerians should see the
Party as the next option to the All Progressive Congress (APC), whose “change”
agenda according to Labour has failed.
The National Chairman of Labour Party, Alhaji Abdul

Earlier in the week, a faction of the party led by a
factional Chairman of the party, Chief Biodun

the parallel congresses held on January 22, 2018 which
produced two executives , one produced Chief Biodun Owolabi as
its chairman while the other elected Mr Abayomi Arabambi as
its chairman.
Owolabi and two others members of his executive in
the suit FHC/A3/CS/10/18, claimed that their executive were duly voted
for by the authentic delegates of the party across the 20 local
governments of the state.
However, speaking further, the National Chairman said
that the wish of members of the party must prevail, while he described Arabambi
as a man of great qualities, who is bold, courageous and fearless.
Abdul Salam said when voted into office, Labour
Party will move Nigeria forward.

Ogun state.
Arabambi said the party will use all constitutional
means to unseat the APC government in the state.
He added that the Labour Party has been in the
forefront of opposition for the past 30 months in the state.
He said, “We have
been the undisputed leader of the opposition for the past 30 months, as our
party has been able to identify with the masses and civil servants whose
salaries, pensions, gratuities, cooperative deductions has been kidnapped and
held to ransom by the evanses and witches now occupying our government house.”
